I run a small digital media business in the UK and have decided to put business on hold while I take a few months off to do this motorcycle adventure.

My passion for motorcycles started when I lived in Spain with my dad when I was a small boy. All my school mates rode motorcycles under what was called a “parental permission licence” – so I pestered the old man for months on end til he gave in. I saved all my pocket money and manged to save enough to buy an old and knackered Montesa 50cc dirt bike – and got it working, much to everyone’s surprise.

Since then I’ve always dreamed about heading off into remote places, so here I finally go.
