43,000 miles and still going strong 24th July 2014
Fair dos to the old Triumph Tiger 800xc. 43,000 miles on the clock and still in great nick after a good service and a clean, despite the battering I gave it on the way to Bangkok in 2011.
Sportsrider.co.uk and sena-bluetooth.co.uk 17th August 2013
A big thanks to Michael and the guys at sportsrider.co.uk and sena-bluetooth.co.uk who rode to the rescue the other day after I’d lost my treasured Sena Bluetooth SMH10 unit just before I was due to set off 0n a trip. They got me a new one shipped out to me in double quick time so I was up and out and on the road, music and sat-naved-up and intercommed with my partner. Thanks chaps.

Fight For Your Local Live Music Venue 11th February 2013
Could you all do me a massive favour, if you’re a fan of live music, check out my latest Facebook post about live music venues being forced out of business and like, share etc. Time to fight back…
I thank you.

Check out this about Gunther Holtorf on the BBC web site. 800,000 miles over 23 years and still going.
Got me wondering, could it be done on a bike?

Support Geoff Warren and the lads as they ride to Dubai on several Triumph Tiger 800 XCs raising money for Help For Heroes.

Black Castle Hotel 24th February 2012
Turns out the place I stated in in Ivano-Frankivsks – The Black Castle Hotel is up for sale. Yours for a mere 4m bucks. If you’re going to the Euros this summer it’s well worth staying there. Read more about my motorcycle ride through Ukraine here.
Ace Cafe Adventure Bike Day 23rd February 2012
Spent Sunday 19th February (a surprisingly warm-ish and sunny day) at the Ace cafe with Dave and the lads from Jack Lilley showing off the new Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 – I want one! Just as soon as I finish paying for the last trip 🙁
Met some great people there including Derek Mansfield who’s planning a similar trip.
Finally caught up with Alex Edwards – now we’re talking about Alaska to Chile some time soon.
Most of us dream of doing these kind of trips on big Beemers, KTMs or Triumphs and the like and doing it in relative comfort. Not Nathan Millward … he did Sydney to London on a Honda CT110 post office bike called Dorothy. Awesome.
